Improvements!

H & R Blocks form of managing all incoming calls through their central phone system by setting up appointments is not helpful to customers like me...who would prefer to speak with a local representative in any of the two all year round office in Hawaii.  Got a 2010 error that still needs to be fixed.  I wish getting the help I required was easier than waiting 2 days or more for a returned phone call from a H&R representative or scheduling an office appointment to get help!

If the office has openings for same day appointment...I'd think they could answer their own phone calls and give immediate feedback to customers like myself.   

NSVC Live Stream Broadcasting of AAU Game Segments

Just wanted to thank Ustream online broadcasting services for allowing users like to me stream live broadcasts of June 2012 AAU 39th Volleyball Nationals from Orlando, Florida for all the family, friends, and community to watch.  Look forward to posting those segments via facebook.

A Belated Thanks!

So belated, but wanted to thank the friends and family that helped me celebrate my first birthday as a widow!  Great food with great company!

2012 North Shore Volleyball Club

The North Shore Volleyball Club (NSVC) 14 A Team traveled to Orlando, Florida to participate in the AAU 39th Junior National Volleyball Tournament hosted by ESPN World Wide Sports held from June 20 - June 23, 2012 - An experience of a life-time!  AAU hosted this weekday tournament at the Orange County Convention Center in which 129 volleyball courts were setup, vendor booths, seats for spectators of both teams and officiating table with nets separating every court it was amazing!  It was an awesome experience to watch our team made up of 3-12s, 4-13s, and 3-14 year olds play volleyball against a team from across the globe.  Majority of the teams we were matched with were from the states (Indiana, Georgia, North Carolina, Idaho, etc).  We lost the gold bracket play-off game to a team from Puerto Rico.  Spent our last day of games challenging for the silver bracket; earning the 23 seat in a pool of 149 Club Teams of which the majority were stacked with 14 year olds.

Many thanks to our Florida Family Hosts, Payless Car Rental, Comfort Inn Suites, Coach Camilla & Mona AhHoy and the NSVC Board for making our eyes open to the international volleyball world!

Florida is the only place where the tournament is scheduled on any other day but Sunday!  Many thanks to the AAU organization for having this annual event!  Hope the girls and families save to Hana Hou!!!!
